Ozzy Osbourne rushed to ICU as health declines – now wife Sharon provides update for fans
Ozzy Osbourne, who was admitted to the intensive care unit due to an upper-respiratory infection that posed a threat of pneumonia, is now recovering steadily at home.
According to Rolling Stone, the rock icon has been discharged from ICU and is now breathing on his own, alleviating concerns about his recent health decline.
Sharon Osbourne, speaking on The Talk, expressed gratitude to fans for their support and reassured them that Ozzy is doing alright.
Osbourne, the 70-year-old frontman of Black Sabbath, initially contracted the flu, which quickly progressed into a severe case of bronchitis.
There were fears it could escalate to pneumonia, which, given his age, could have been fatal, causing widespread concern among his global fanbase.
Initially set to embark on a tour across the UK and Europe, Osbourne’s health is showing signs of improvement today. Sharon remarked, “He’s doing well, really.”
She also extended heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of well-wishes, noting Ozzy’s emotional response, which is both heartwarming and poignant.
Rolling Stone further reports that Osbourne plans to resume the postponed tour sometime this autumn. Fans are encouraged to retain their tickets as they will be honored for the rescheduled shows.
However, refunds are available upon request. Here’s hoping for a speedy recovery for the legendary rock star Ozzy Osbourne! The Prince of Darkness remains in our thoughts and prayers.
