A mother of three from Oklahoma was killed when a plane wing hit her while she was riding a lawnmower on an air terminal strip.
There was a little air terminal 170 miles upper east of Dallas called Broken Bow Air terminal on Friday evening. Samantha Hayes, who is 27 years of age, was riding the cutter on the grass there.
KFOR expressed that simultaneously, 70-year-old pilot James Baxter was preparing to land his 1972 Bananza A36 on the runway.
The Oklahoma Roadway Watch said Mr. Baxter saw Hayes riding the cutter and immediately attempted to direct the vehicle away from her yet fizzled.
Hayes was hit in the head by the plane’s wing.
There was no life for the 27-year-old individual at the scene.
