Alan Jackson Announces Milestone News Following 43 Years of Marriage

Alan Jackson and his wife Denise have much to celebrate this holiday season and in the year ahead. The couple, who have been wed for 43 years, welcomed their first grandchild into the world on Wednesday, December 13—just two days prior to their anniversary celebration.

As high school sweethearts, Alan and Denise exchanged vows on December 15, 1979, when Alan was 21 and Denise was 19. Though they parted ways nearly two decades later, they never legally divorced and eventually found their way back to each other.

Together, they have three daughters: Mattie Denise Selecman (born 1990), Alexandra Jane “Ali” (born 1993), and Dani Grace (born 1997). While Ali, the middle child, became a parent first, Alan and Denise mark the first generation in their family to embrace grandparenthood.

Alan Jackson took to Instagram to share a heartwarming photo of him and Denise cradling their newborn grandchild. Seated beside Denise on a couch, Alan, donning his signature Cowboy hat, basked in the glow of newfound grandparenthood.

“Denise and I are commemorating our 43rd wedding anniversary with our newest grandson, Jackson Alvie Bradshaw. Ali and Sam welcomed Jack into the world on Dec 13, 2022. We’re overjoyed to embrace this new chapter as grandparents!,” Alan captioned the image.

Mere hours earlier, Alan had posted another snapshot of the couple, marking their 43 years of marital bliss. Encouraging fans to join in the celebration, the singer wrote, “Let’s all wish Alan and Denise a Happy Anniversary!” prompting an outpouring of well-wishes from hundreds of fans in the comments section.

Approximately three weeks after Alan Jackson shared a family photo on Instagram in front of their grand fireplace, clearly revealing Ali’s pregnancy, the news became public. Alan, accompanied by his family—including his wife, three daughters, their partners, and even their two dogs—revealed the joyous news.
