On March 27, Na’vaun Lamarii Price Jackson stumbled upon a firearm beneath a bed in the residence of his mother’s boyfriend. Shockingly, the boyfriend admitted to neglecting to secure the weapon properly.
Brijjanna Price, the young boy’s mother, made her stance clear during a press conference—she has no intentions of returning to that house or engaging with anyone associated with it ever again.
Reports from KTVU indicate that medical professionals at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital delivered heartbreaking news to Price. They informed her that her son had likely sustained severe brain damage, rendering him unable to walk for the rest of his life.
However, Na’vaun, after emerging from a medically induced coma and being removed from life support, has proven that miracles do happen. Remarkably, he has shown signs of responsiveness and has even started to eat independently.
Price expressed her joy and gratitude, sharing with KTVU, “He’s breathing on his own, and he’s doing something different every day.” She firmly believes that despite the doctors’ prognosis, there is a higher power at work, guiding her son’s recovery.
