Gayle King Speaks Out About Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Decision Making Process Regarding Royal Family Dynamics

Gayle King has recently lauded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, her close friends, for their decision concerning King Charles coronation. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made a remarkable call, according to the journalist, with Harry attending the event and Meghan staying with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

“I think Meghan and Harry should do what’s best for them,” said Gayle to Us Weekly. “Clearly they know what’s going on in their family life. They know what’s going on over there.”

Gayle, the co-host of CBS Mornings, also emphasized that she does not provide any guidance to the Royal couple based in California regarding their relationship with the Royal family. “They consult me about nothing when it comes to that or anything for that matter,” she added. “I think they make the decision that’s best for them. But I think — as [far as] his dad — I’m glad he’s going.”

Buckingham Palace has confirmed that Harry will be travelling to the UK for the crowning ceremony of the new monarch, while Meghan will stay in California. King claims that Harry and Meghan are in “a really good place” despite their ongoing feud with the Duke’s family. “You’ve seen the two of them together, and I know what they have is really true-blue,” she said.

“And it’s good to see the happiness that they give each other,” the journalist gushed about the duo.
