Man Killed in San Antonio Gym Shooting; Suspect Arrested, Charged with Murder

In a shocking incident that unfolded on Monday evening, a man was reportedly shot and killed at an LA Fitness gym in San Antonio. According to the authorities, they have apprehended a suspect in connection with the murder. The incident took place around 7 p.m. at the gym located at 7140 Blanco Road.

Per the witnesses, the perpetrator walked into the gym and shot the victim from behind, leading to the victim’s immediate death. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) declared the victim deceased at the scene. The police promptly arrived at the location of the incident after being alerted by witnesses.

Fortunately, the suspect was located near the site, and the authorities arrested him without any hassle. The weapon used to carry out the ghastly crime was also found at the scene. The suspect was identified as Jessie Marquis MacWilliams, a 32-year-old.

The crime scene investigators thoroughly examined the location, and the homicide unit began their investigation into the incident. As a result, Jessie was taken into custody on a charge of felony first-degree murder and booked into Bexar County Jail. Online records suggest that he is still in custody on a bond of $250,000.

At this point in time, investigators are trying to decipher the motive behind this heinous crime. No further information has been released by the authorities.
